Our Souls Are One - A Poem Written by Aruna & Shailesh

Aruna:-
Autumn is a season of ripening  harvest
The nature is bountiful in wellness
My love has bloomed in fullness
All leaves though fallen sanctify it's greatness.

Shailesh:-
Now our souls are one, not two
Entire beauty of nature is embedded in you
Magical autumn gives us a close clue
It is time for our dreams to come true.

Aruna:-
Every leaf completes it's life
As you and me in bonding strife
Each leaf has a turn to be a flower
Our sweet moments carved in years tower.

Shailesh:-
Heart shivers now like dry leaves, 
Expectations all brightly colored in memories  
Wandering how beautiful death can be  
Wrapped in your arms holding me.

* Dr. Shailesh Gupta Veer is an Indian poet. He is a bilingual, writes in English & Hindi both. He has a PhD in Archaeology. He has edited about a dozen literary books and several magazines time to time. His poetry has been published in various literary magazines, journals, anthologies and websites. He has won many awards in the field of poetry and literature. His poems have been translated into Chinese, Greek, French, German, Azerbaijani, Serbian, Croatian and some other languages. He was born in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is also a reviewer and promoter of poetry and literature. His poetry attracts hearts of many, while forcing brains to get calculative. His love for human values, nature, philosophy and the spiritual world is insurmountable. All these can clearly be seen in his works of poetry. He was declared a Literary Icon in December 2018 by TV program You and Literature Today from Nigeria. His poems were read on The Dear John Show of Warrington, England.

* Aruna Lakra is an Indian by birth. She hails originally from West Bengal in the India. Presently she is residing New York in the US. She is a full time working woman and a mother. Though her degree is specialized in Marketing, She possesses a keen passion for literature, especially in writing poetry. Her poetry has been published in various literary magazine, journals and anthologies. "Breathe Through My Words" is her newly published collection of poems. She is a great lover of nature and reading poems is very next to her spiritual task of reading the Holy Bible. That's reason, in her poetry the nature has been accurately depicted and love has been defined well perfectly. She loves multi-culturalism and diversity. Her basic aim in writing poetry is to touch and soothe human souls, at the same time she wishes to express her inner feelings through her creativity.

I have  a beautiful picture  in front of me and a million thoughts  in my mind I do write  but can I ever tell her, Her charming face  with resplendent nature captivates me Her glistening teeth  create the illusion  of being twinkling stars Her lagoon blue dress  creates power  in the atmosphere and Its brightness merges  with the blueness of the sky  and becomes one, I try to break away  from the glare of  this magical aura But all my attempts fail... Being covered with a veil Her half visible well-groomed hair Feels like it's about to rain, I stop and gaze  again and again...! l look into her enticing eyes she is watching me  with her deep eyes, With lovely pink smile  I also smile, Suddenly the stars  disappear from the sky The weather is spreading its magic, Due to the strong winds,  the coolness increases too much  She put her purse aside I make her wear  a navy blue jacket She starts staring at me  lovingly, Wow!  what is the change starts raining heavily!
